The Hotel Sole is one of Riva del Garda's most historic hotels. It is the work of the great architect, Giancarlo Maroni and became famous back in the early 1800s. It is situated on the main square of Riva del Garda, in the heart of the historic centre, overlooking the lake. It is approximately 500 meters from the Congress Centre, which can be reached via a pleasant walk of just over 5 minutes. The Exhibition Centre is 2km away. There are 80 bedrooms of varying types, some of which have a balcony, some have a lake view and all have air-conditioning. In the warmer months, the buffet breakfast can be enjoyed on the charming panoramic terrace which looks straight out over the lake. The hotel also has a restaurant offering Italian cuisine, local dishes and pizzas. The hotel can be accessed by car, even though it is in a pedestrian area. The hotel offers a discounted garage located nearby which must be reserved in advance.
